  • Transfer remaining funds to another active account or request cash withdrawal.

Returning Bank Materials

  • Surrender the ATM/debit card issued for the account.
  • Return unused cheque leaves or cheque books to the bank.
  • Passbook, if issued, should also be submitted for final entry.
  • Banks may request signed confirmation of returned materials.
  • Failure to return items may delay the closure process.

Verification and Processing

  • Bank officials verify submitted documents and customer identity.
  • Closure request is processed after internal checks and balance confirmation.
