Proof of Identity
- PAN card is mandatory for all applicants.
- Aadhaar card, passport, or voter ID as additional identification.
- Name and photograph must match other documents.
- Copies should be self-attested or verified by the intermediary.
- Identity verification may include in-person or video KYC.
Proof of Address
- Recent utility bills, bank statements, or Aadhaar card.
- Passport or driving license as permanent address proof.
- Address must be current and clearly visible on documents.
- Documents should be recent, typically within last three months.
- Proof must match the address given in the application form.
Photographs and Account Opening Form
- Recent passport-size color photographs as per DP guidelines.
- Duly filled and signed Demat account opening form.
- Signature should match the one on PAN card and other documents.
- Form includes nominee and FATCA/CRS declaration.
- Additional forms may be required for joint accounts.
Bank Account Details
- Canceled cheque or bank statement for linking bank account.
- Account must be in the applicant’s name and active.
- IFSC and account number must be clearly mentioned.
- Details are used for dividends and credit of sales proceeds.
- Linking enables seamless transfer between Demat and bank accounts.
Additional Regulatory Documents
- Income proof for derivatives or higher trading limits.
- KYC form as per SEBI regulations.
- In-person or online verification documents as required.
- Declaration of PEP status if applicable.
- Any other documents as specified by the Depository Participant.
