Proof of Identity

Proof of Address
- Utility bills (electricity, water, telephone) not older than 3 months.
- Aadhaar card, passport, or driver’s license with current address.
- Bank statement or rent agreement may be accepted in some banks.
- Address must match the one provided in the application form.
- Self-attested copies of all address documents are required.
Passport Size Photographs
- Typically 2 to 3 recent color passport-size photos are needed.
- Photos must match the applicant’s appearance on ID documents.
- Required for application form, KYC records, and passbook/ATM issuance.
- Some banks may ask for digital photographs at the branch.
- Ensure photos are clear and not older than six months.
Account Opening Form and Declarations
- Duly filled and signed bank account opening form.
- KYC declaration and FATCA (if applicable) must be completed.
- Nomination form for designating a beneficiary.
- Form 15H for TDS exemption may be submitted optionally.
