Seafarers and Mariners
- Individuals employed on foreign ships under valid contracts.
- Must be sailing under NRI status for more than 182 days.
- Proof of employment and NRI status is mandatory.
- PAN card and overseas address required.
- Bank may require declaration and shipping company letter.
Documentation and Legal Requirements
- Valid Indian passport and visa/residence permit.
- Proof of overseas address such as utility bills or bank statements.
- PAN card or Form 60 as per bank requirements.
- Passport-size photographs and completed application form.
