- Confirm with transaction PIN, biometric, or OTP.
Via UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
- Use UPI-enabled apps like BHIM, Google Pay, PhonePe, or Paytm.
- Link your savings account to the app using mobile number and debit card.
- Select or enter the UPI ID or mobile number of the recipient.
- Enter the transfer amount and authenticate with UPI PIN.
- Money is sent instantly and confirmation is received in seconds.
Through Bank’s Missed Call or SMS Services
- Some banks offer SMS-based fund transfer for registered users.
- Use a specific SMS format to send money to saved beneficiaries.
- Limited to small value transactions and pre-registered accounts.
- Requires prior activation and linking of mobile banking profile.
- Works even without internet connectivity in some banks.
Important Notes for Online Transfers
- Ensure the recipient’s details are accurate to avoid failed transfers.
- Each method has daily limits and service timings, especially NEFT and RTGS.
- Charges may apply depending on the bank and mode selected.
- Keep a record or screenshot of the transaction for reference.
- Always log out securely after completing the transfer.
