Proof of Age for the Minor
- Birth certificate is the most commonly accepted document.

Photographs of the Minor

KYC Documents of the Guardian

Relationship Proof Between Minor and Guardian

- The bank may request a declaration form confirming the relationship.

Account Opening Form and Declarations
- Duly filled minor account opening form signed by the guardian.
- Selection of account type (savings, FD, RD) and mode of operation.
- Nomination form for future succession (optional but recommended).
- Declaration that the minor is not operating another account, if required.
- Banks may also ask for an undertaking for fund usage on behalf of the minor.
